Last Friday it was 5L’s turn to have a Well-being Workshop in the hall. During the workshop they did a number of exercises and activities to improve their well-being and calm their minds. They took part in relaxation exercises, yoga, deep breathing, positive affirmation games and guided meditation. We also discussed some of the things that make us feel stressed. Different puppets were used to explain how different parts of the brain react when they get anxious and stressed. The boys felt very calm and relaxed by the end of the workshop and came out with a tool kit of useful ideas they could use to help them in these situations.
