The Warhammer Young Leaders took part in the local heat of the Warhammer School League on Saturday. There were four teams in the heat: Magdalen A, Magdalen B, Bartholomew School and Abingdon Prep. The Magdalen A team consisted of Year 11 players and the same team had been the runners up in the National Final last year. Three of the Bartholomew team were also from Year 11. So the boys had their work cut out! Magdalen A won but the boys acquitted themselves well. Josef was voted Most Honourable Warrior (everyone has to vote for their favourite game and the player with the most votes received this award and 10 points for their team). Josef also received a nomination for Best Painted Army. The boys can have another go in February to get themselves into the semi-finals.
