Reception were very excited to visit Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park on Monday. The pupils heard about the sheep and goats in the lambing pen, seeing several lambs and kids that were only a few days old. Pebble the sheep gave birth shortly before we arrived and we got to see her baby attempting to stand for the first time. We also hand fed a number of animals as we walked around the farm, enjoyed the forest walkway, stroked the rabbits and held chicks – some of which mischievously jumped out of their baskets and onto the children’s shoulders!
