Unfortunately, pupils in Year 7 were not able to go on their annual trip to the Roman bath houses in Bath. Instead, the bath houses came to Abingdon Prep! Pupils were treated to a presentation by Juliet, a representative from the Roman bath houses, who led an interactive session where pupils were introduced to a Syrian man whose remains were found at Bath, and to ‘Peregrinus’, a man who travelled from Germany to Bath and whose dedication to the gods can be found there.
