We recently enjoyed watching the final of the Verse Speaking competition. Every pupil in Years 3-6 had chosen and learned a poem and we had already enjoyed listening to a wide variety of poetry in the class heats. Winners were chosen from each class who then went forward to the final, judged by Ben Phillips, Head of Drama at Abingdon School.
