Following on from the huge success of the Senior Choir’s first ever overseas tour to Germany two years ago, this time we embarked on a trip to Venice. We had spent months rehearsing and were all very excited as we set off on the bus to Gatwick at 4:30am on the last day of the spring term. Having spent the entire morning travelling, we were able to relax at the beach and enjoy Italian ice creams after checking in at the hotel on the mainland in Lido di Jesolo. We were all very tired and hungry, so after enjoying a delicious meal at the hotel, we were all ready for our beds.
The next day was packed – we took the vaporetto to Venice.
