The Under 8 tag rugby teams have enjoyed some success in their opening fixtures of the term.
All three teams, A, B and C, enjoyed a clean sweep against Christ Church in the first fixture on Tuesday 28 September.
The fixture against Pinewood the following Tuesday was tougher. The A team scored three tries and the B team five, but the boys needed to make more tackles to stop the opposition scoring a couple more. However, the C team retained their unbeaten record in an exciting 9-9 draw.
It has been particularly rewarding to see the boys come together in their teams and put into practice the skills and drills rehearsed in Games lessons and play with a positive spirit, respecting each other, their opponents and the officials.
