For several of our boys and parents, the last day of half term began impressively early as our Under 13’s rugby team assembled at school for their rugby tour to Jersey. Blinking away some sleep dust but still buoyed by their home success against The Dragon School earlier in the week.
On the Island, the boys were tested against some very strong School and Academy teams but managed to win two of their three matches (vs Victoria College L12 – 26, Jersey RFC W36 – 10, Jersey Select XV W5 – 0). Although the main focus of the tour was the rugby, the boys were able to enjoy a tour of the Jersey War Tunnels, an afternoon at the ‘Aqua-Splash’ pool, ten-pin bowling, a visit to the cinema
