On Saturday the Abingdon Prep U13 football squads played at Dragon Prep. In two fixtures at A and B team level, they enjoyed competitive matches, with both games tightly contested.
The U13A team, captained by Alex, narrowly lost 2-3 in a match where they dominated the midfield but got caught out on the rebound a few times. Two fantastic goals came from Isaac and Charlie.
The U13B team came from a goal behind to secure a 1-1 draw in the closing minutes of a nail biting contest. In tough conditions, the boys worked hard to create chances, and were rewarded with a goal blasted home by Rodion.
