As part of our Fantasy topic, Yr1 have been learning all about space, planets and the solar system.
We took a trip to the Winchester INTECH Science Centre where we had a fantastic learning experience and a chance to see things in space for ourselves.
After a long drive in the minibus, we arrived and were amazed at the size of the satellites, we thought a rocket really could take off from here! We then had a chance to explore the hands-on science exhibits which were all interactive and demonstrated different scientific ideas, so many to choose from!
