Reception has been exploring Tom McLaughlin’s book about a strange machine that he finds in the loft of his house.
We have had a fabulous week becoming authors of our own books in a similar style. We have explored computer programmes to make the backgrounds of each page, then each day we have added our own sentences and illustrations.
Our final exploration took us out on location with the famous typewriter, so that we could be creative with our writing in all sorts of exciting places.
We have certainly shown what amazing authors and illustrators we are!
