As part of our Marvellous Me Topic, children in our Reception class have been learning about how to keep our bodies healthy and safe. Visiting Doctor Selina came in to teach us about her job and how, as a GP, she looks after people. She opened her Doctor’s bag which was explored in depth! The following day, Doctor Selina opened the ‘Abingdon Prep Minor Injuries Unit’ and the pupils and their bears learnt about admissions, x-rays, bandaging skills and taking care of poorly bears! I think we have some budding future medics in our midst…
