Congratulations to three of our Year 8 pupils who were recently awarded Sports Scholarships. Two to Abingdon School and one to St. Edward's, Oxford.
Harrison (St. Edward's, Oxford) has particularly excelled at rugby (Wasps Academy) and cricket (District) and impressed in an exceptionally strong field of applicants. The Director of Sport at St Edward's commented that 'Harrison would add greatly to the sport at the school and offers a great deal of potential.'
Freddie (Abingdon School) is both a county hockey and cricket player while Nicholas (Abingdon School) is a UK number 1 ranked swimmer. Both are exceptional all-rounders.
