With the sun shining, the anticipation grew for our whole school Sports Day at Tilsley Park. The occasion provided a great opportunity for the pupils to showcase their sporting abilities with everyone participating in at least two events.
The morning’s events saw some standout performances in both the track and field with multiple school records broken. A late downpour could not dampen everyone’s spirits and a thrilling finale followed with the first ever all-house relay leading to an incredibly tense finish. Following a consultation in the scorers’ hut it was announced that Unicorn and Phoenix will share the trophy. A fitting end to a wonderful day.
Well done to everyone for taking part and thank you to all the parents who came out to support.
