This year’s Carol Concert was a very special event as it was also a farewell concert to Chris and Jane Davies. To mark the occasion it was held in the prestigious and historic setting of the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford. The boys were very excited and proud to be performing in such a venue and rose to the occasion magnificently in front of a packed auditorium.
The programme began in the traditional way with Once in Royal David’s City, soloist Darius Oraee (y.7) before unfolding to reveal the talents of the boys in our main instrumental ensembles, choirs and year group singing, interspersed with instrumental soloists and readings.
