Rebecca and Zehra led our assembly for Science Week aided by boys from the Year 5-6 BrainSTEMs Science Club showing the diversity of science.
The boys demonstrated waveforms using a giant slinky. Zehra shared videos from our trailcam in the woods which takes videos whenever something passes its lens – it caught a muntjac, a mouse, a rabbit, a pheasant (hen), a fox and a cat! Finally the boys carried out the ‘elephant’s toothpaste’ experiment, a reaction which created large amounts of striped foam to the delight of the audience.
Rebecca also told the boys about our exciting new STEM Electronics Club coming next term for Years 7 and 8.
