Today 22 Year 7 and 8 pupil’s met at 7:30am to travel to Jersey for a rugby tour organised by Ashley.
A long bus journey did not stop our excitement of the thought of going to Jersey. Once parked up at the long stay car park we all made our way to the terminal at Southampton airport. After clearing customs, WH Smith clearly made very large profits from the sales to our boys who ‘stocked up’ on energy drinks and sweets for the trip.
After a 30 minute flight and having reclaimed our baggage, we were met by a Jersey coach which was especially designed for the narrow lanes of Jersey. Once on board, it wasn’t long before the cards were whipped out for a quick game of poker…
