Pupils and staff gathered at 11am to mark Remembrance Day. The two-minute silence was perfectly observed with some pupils perhaps reflecting on this year’s theme of those who served on a number of fronts in 1944, from Monte Cassino to Imphal. This followed an informative assembly by pupils in 8R on this theme the previous Thursday. The silence was played in and out by Rohan, in Year 8, and Russell on their trumpets. Many pupils chose to wear poppies enthusiastically sold by volunteers from Year 3.
