It was a privilege to be able to welcome 16 schools from 6 different counties to Tilsley Park for the annual U11 Regional IAPS competition. The wet and windy conditions couldn’t dampen the spirits of the competitors or coaches and there was some fantastic hockey on display, with some nail bitingly close matches, coming down to penalty strokes. It is always an exciting time to be involved in the sport during an Olympic year and we hope that the tournament has inspired someone to reach the world stage in 8 years time.
