On a beautiful, sunny day in June, the Reception class set off on a fruit-tasting, farm adventure. The trip commenced with everyone packing their picnic lunch into a crate, putting sun cream and sun hats on and making their way to the school bus. Mike Cox was at the helm, ready to drive us ‘all the way down the road’ to Millets! This much of the day’s outing was already enough to get the children’s excitement levels rising!
On arrival, the boys accompanied by Elaine, Anna, Jane and myself made their way through numerous rows of bushes and trees – looking, picking, smelling and tasting a variety of fruit.
