The Abingdon Prep Academy re-opened with great success over the Easter holiday as over 70 boys and girls attended a variety of courses. In the Music Theory and Technology Course children produced their own music, including rewriting a short soundtrack for a cartoon. In Drama, we saw mini sketches performed with enthusiasm and ability, while the Drum and Ukulele Workshop crafted an exciting and rhythmical piece of music for all the parents and staff to tap their feet along to.

The Cricket Course saw the children use video technology, nets, match practice and technical drills to enhance their techniques and abilities, culminating in a very competitive and sporting World Cup, which England uncharacteristically won! The Multi-sport and Activity Course saw the children partake in sessions from qualified coaches in tennis, cricket, football, tag rugby, basketball, hockey and swimming. They also produced some excellent art work, including a collage and some painting, ending the week with an Easter Egg hunt and the Abingdon Prep Olympics!

Thank you to all the children for coming and to all the parents for bringing them. We have a full program in the summer, including new Science and Arts and Craft Courses – please do come and join us!
