Harvest is an important time for Pre-prep. It marks the transition from summer to winter and is such a lovely celebration of the world around us during the autumn season. We celebrated with a traditional harvest festival, bringing gifts to the harvest table which were received by Reverend David Pickering and Reverend Richard Zair. David went on to talk with the children about the local Abingdon foodbank and how the donations from the children would help support children who were less fortunate. Chariity worker Hillary accepted the gifts on behalf of the foodbank.

The children sang and shared an array of songs and poems, from Reception dressed in flippy-floppy hats just like the scarecrows in their song, to the timeless favourite from Year 1 about fluffy cauliflowers and finishing with a wonderfully accompanied song 'What you sow' from Year 2. A true celebration of the Harvest.
