As part of our English curriculum, Year 3 have written persuasive letters to members of staff asking them to consider some excellent ideas for the school. In the past, these have brought about the addition of our outdoor explorers club and computer gaming club. This year, the children have been focusing on the extra-curricular with ideas including a rugby club, a bike club and a Junior band. However, sustainability is also clearly on their radar, with the suggestion of ‘meat free Mondays’ and more planting at the front of the school. We’ll keep you posted on which initiatives get adopted.
