Our paper mache puppy workshop, taught by Claire who has a passion for sculpture, has become a firm favourite over the years. The boys began by creating the armature, and 3D form of the puppy using balled newspaper and tape. Refining the shape as they progressed to show their own unique pose. We had sitting, jumping, and playing – to name a few. The paste stage was important to create a smooth finish, this will enable each student to render the surface however they would like, painting, collage or simply leaving the newspaper texture. Well done Years 7 and 8!
