Abingdon Prep School's production of Lionel Bart's musical, Oliver concluded a most successful and rewarding run at the Amey Theatre today. Ably supported by girls from St Helen and St Katharine's, Headington, Rye St Anthony and The Manor, the boys rose to the occasion as expected and convincingly portrayed their Victorian characters.
As always in a production of this size there was a large team effort. The young cast gained confidence and self belief as they all accepted the responsibility of working together and produced a commendable level of achievement. They fully deserved the enthusiastic support of the appreciative audiences.
