As part of our exploration into the distant times of the dinosaurs we visited some of the creatures who have a direct link with these extinct beasts. The boys in Pre-prep excitedly boarded the coach to venture into the lagoons and swamps of Brize Norton… otherwise known as Crocodiles of the World.
We had the most amazing experience, where Terry our guide, explained how lizards, snakes and even birds are closely linked to the prehistoric animals. We had the opportunity to look the snake in the eye, stroke the lizard and even hold a 19 month old crocodile. Year one children were 'surprised that the snake was so soft and silky smooth!'
