As part of Science Week, Year 4 took part in a neuroscience workshop with Professor Mackay where they found out all about the brain and why it is important for learning. They enjoyed making their own different neurons, some for sensitivity, others motor, and then brought them all together to make a neural network. There was some time for questioning Clare all about brains, including understanding how they are different – a key message during science and neurodiversity week.
