Pre-prep performed a traditional Nativity play with eight brand new catchy songs. Right from the beginning when the audience was ‘welcomed to the story’ and were introduced to the key characters of Mary and Joseph. The donkey ‘clip clopped’ all the way to Bethlehem where they tried to find a room by ‘knock, knock, knock’ on Innkeepers doors. When the shepherds heard the news they were ‘warming their toes’ and were astounded by the ‘angel appeared in the sky’. The narrators confidently told us that ‘three kings were riding’ to the stable where they found the ‘baby sleeping’ and understood the birth of Jesus was a chance for ‘everyone to celebrate’. As the cast took their bow, the little donkey has one last stroll as he plodded along the dusty road.
