Measuring time was the task given to Year 2 for Science Week. They had Year 8 pupils to help them make devices or contraptions to measure ten seconds using sand, water, cups, marbles, ramps and rulers. Some groups opted to make water or sand timers, others attempted long marble runs; the first type were generally more accurate! Year 2 had such fun on their visit to the science lab.
