In Science, Year 8 are studying sound. They explored pitch (wavelength) and loudness (amplitude) on a variety of tuned/tuneable and percussion instruments. The cacophony of noise gradually coalesced into a coherent tune, played on boomwhackers, glockenspiel and drum. The tune? It was the riff from the White Tubes song, ‘Seven Nation Army’!
