The annual JPA Quiznight took place on Friday evening, held in aid of our school charity for 2018, Springfield School in Witney. This year, the questions alternated with three horse races which added to the fun. Our quizmaster compiled a wonderful cornucopia of questions ranging from parliamentary constituencies to naming the three teams to have never been demoted from the top football league/championship (Everton and Arsenal were easier to get but Bournemouth was not an obvious answer for the third!). A team of Y3 parents called ‘Just ask Siri’ were the winners by just one point from the Staff team who came second – again! Many thanks to Rachel and Anne who ran the ‘betting shop’, and all the JPA helpers who made it a really fun evening.
