Members of the Abingdon Prep Community have been invited to join the John O’Groats to Land’s End Virtual Challenge in February on Strava. The aim is to travel the entire length of Great Britain between two extremities in the northeast and southwest (1,407km).
Day 2 and we have travelled 310km through the village of Helmsdale on the east coast of Sutherland and down to Aviemore which is in the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. A town popular for skiing and other winter sports. Finally, this afternoon we made it down to the city of Perth in central Scotland on the banks of the River Tay.
A great effort! The new target is to get to Birmingham by the end of the week!
