On Saturday, Year 7 and 8 boys took part in an art sculpture workshop, exploring the 3D work of Joan Miro. The boys used wire to make the armature, and mock rock, a plaster filled gauze to cover the surface area and apply strength to the model. They then became free standing. Whilst drying the boys set to designing on paper the whimsical Miro patterns and colours using acrylic paints. We can’t wait to see the finished product this week!
