This term has been our busiest yet. Our team has now grown to 30 JEDIs, and we have been working across a range of project groups. We created two new displays: one celebrating traditional clothing from around the world, and another showing the countries where our pupils, and their parents and grandparents, have lived. We invited the whole school community to contribute, and the response was fantastic.

Several JEDIs also supported assemblies celebrating the achievements of older people, Black History, and para-sport athletes. Our learning focus was autism, and Sarah helped us understand that autism is a wide spectrum. She reminded us how important it is to see the whole person, not just any challenges they may face.

All pupils made sure they could explain what JEDI stands for and, thanks to their hard work, were proudly awarded their JEDI badges.
