The Pre-prep children set off early to visit the Intech Science Centre and planetarium in Winchester. The excited group of nearly 70 pupils and adults, set off at 9.00 – filling a coach and a school mini bus.
On arrival, the group was met by a member of Intech staff, who took the children into the centre to take off and hang up their coats and put their ‘packed’ lunches away safely for later. The children were then ‘briefed’ about the safety regulations and the programme for the day, which started with a snack and a drink after the long journey.
Shortly afterwards there was a buzz of activity as children and adults alike set off to explore the activities available.
