Year 5 visited Portsmouth Historic Dockyard last Thursday. This was part of their history study of ‘Nelson’s Navy’ and involved a tour of HMS Victory, an activity session about life in the Georgian navy and a visit to the Maritime Museum. It was a superb and invaluable experience which the boys will draw on throughout the rest of their study of Nelson. To find out more read Sam's account of the wonderful day!
