Years 3 and 4 have been transforming wooden clothes pegs into some interesting CDT work. A very popular project was to build a wooden plane and fly it over a scenic base. ‘Look out for the volcano, the forest or the river below’ – was the cry from the cockpit!
Just before we break for Half Term, the boys used the wooden pegs to create animal legs and the challenge was to make the standing figure! With such vision and creativity, suddenly there was a menagerie of species being produced from crocodiles to rabbits and even dinosaurs to a chicken! CDT certainly rocks this term, if in an unusual way!
