Year 5 has been thinking of ways to remember the gender of food items in French in their new topic. With cleverly designed ‘M’ for masculine nouns and ‘F’ for feminine ones, we really hope they got to eat some of the products too.
They have also been learning how to say ‘some’ according to the gender of the item. They then created a script for what they might say in a shop and some were keen to practise using their colour agreement knowledge. Many are looking forward to when they can travel to France to put this all into practice!
