Year 5 pupils have enjoyed their regular Forest School sessions over the last couple of weeks. 5D worked hard last week to light their own ‘fairy fires’ using a flint and steel in sub-zero temperatures. 5K enjoyed rather warmer temperatures yesterday as they practiced their fire-lighting technique too. All of the pupils successfully made sparks and showed an impressive level of resilience as they kept trying until the sparks caught the cotton wool and they made fire!
