As part of Science Week, Year 6 had a show on Forces, delivered by Science Oxford. We were also very lucky to enjoy the show along with Year 5 and 6 pupils from Wootton Primary School. Andy gave us an insight into forces based around Newton’s laws, which included many interactive demonstrations and opportunities for pupils to get involved. He showed that although forces can slow us down and hinder our motion they can also be a necessity in engineering bridges.
