A super opening fixture played with determination between two highly competitive teams. The first half saw both teams opening their scoring. Louis scored for APS, slotting the ball past the keeper following excellent team play. CCCS benefited from a late penalty. The half finished 1-1. The second half was much harder going, with post-Christmas fitness taking its toll on many. APS absorbed pressure well early in the half but cracks appeared as the match progressed. Errors clearing the ball resulted in a quick succession of goals for CCCS although the boys fought bravely to the end. The final score was 1-4. Well done to all who took part.
