Year 7 practised some important first aid skills with Debbie, our qualified nurse. The special equipment allowed pupils to practise safely administering back blows and abdominal thrusts to someone who is choking. Whilst we hope that this is not a situation they will face, they showed great confidence in the techniques they learnt.
