The Pre-Prep children had a very exciting morning when the Abingdon Fire Service came to visit! Not only did they get to see inside the fire engine itself but they learned about ways in which they can stay safe. Our Reception pupils particularly enjoyed learning about all of the equipment on board the fire engine, whilst children in Year 2 made a safety plan and explored the safety clothing. The visit ended with the Fire crew being called away to a real emergency, leaving with blue lights flashing and sirens blaring!
