After reading ‘Finding Winnie’, the true story of the bear who inspired Winnie-the-Pooh, Year 1 has been learning about the first world war. The boys enjoyed preparing their own army goulash from a real WW1 recipe book! To help us feel the part, we dressed up and made our own army den to enjoy goulash in.
