Year 2 had a wonderful afternoon at Abingdon Senior School exploring their planetarium. The pupils were transported into space! It was incredible to see how small Earth’s sun is compared to other stars. The boys also learnt all about constellations in the Science Laboratory. They used geoboards to create the Big Dipper, Leo and Cassiopeia and they even had a go at creating their own constellation. We are all hoping for clear skies so we can spot some of these constellations.
