Year 8 enjoyed a blustery visit to the Jurassic Coast as part of their geography topic on coasts. They practised their fieldwork skills in the morning, collecting data on sediment size and beach angles in Durdle Cove. After a brief period sheltering in the visitor centre when the rain arrived, we then went into Lulworth Cove, which is still blocked by last year’s landslide, and discussed the exciting coastal features and rock folding at the Lulworth Crumple.
