Last week Year 4 explored the artwork of Nigerian born artist Yinka Shonibare. As part of their colour and texture unit they have been hard at work designing circular canvases, these have been based upon a variety of culturural patterns and colours ranging from Chinese dragons, Islamic repetitions, Mexican contrasting colours and classical British motifs.
We look forward to exhibiting their completed Shonibare inspired work very soon.
