Leo in Year 5 has distinguished himself in karate having recently competed in the Kyu Grade National Championships in Sheffield. His coach Patience said that Leo delivered strong performances in the Kata section and was unlucky not to gain a medal. Leo also took part in the sparring section and again was very close to finishing in a medal winning position. Leo is already in his club’s competition “A” squad and is being tipped for great things in the future, as well as already being described as an excellent role model.
