Pre-prep had a lovely morning learning about Diwali. The teachers were dressed for the occasion in saris and traditional jewelery. We heard about the story of Rama and Sita. Everybody tasted some special Diwali food, which went down very well. The boys made diya lamps, which were lit and placed around a giant rangoli pattern. To finish off our celebration we learn some traditional Indian dancing. A special thank you to Nita for all her help to make this event such a success.
