Reception enjoyed celebrating and learning about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. Rupal came in to tell us about the story of Ramu and Sita and to share the highlights of Diwali in her household. Everyone joined together to hold the sari as the fabric was wrapped around and around Elaine and then they dressed up too to celebrate. We tried a selection of Indian food whilst we listened to traditional music. The celebrations ended with the boys learning the moves to dance with Rupal.
